AI Automation

Custom AI agents that do real work, safely

An AI agent is a model with a job, tools and rules. I design agents that take repetitive, multi-step work off your team, from research and reporting to triage and data entry, and that know when to hand back to a person.

What's included

What Custom AI Agents covers.

Scoped to your site and goals. Not every engagement needs every item, and the audit tells us which ones matter most.

01

Agent design

The job, the tools the agent may use, its limits and what success looks like, written down first.

02

Model selection

Claude, ChatGPT, Kimi, Grok, Writer or Muse, matched to the task, the cost and how sensitive the data is.

03

Tool connections

Agents connected to your CRM, inbox, docs, spreadsheets and website through n8n or direct APIs.

04

Human approval

Review steps before anything is sent, published or changed.

05

Logging & monitoring

Every action recorded, with alerts when something fails or looks wrong.

06

Evaluation

Agents tested against real examples before launch and reviewed after.

How I approach it

The honest version

Agents work best on bounded jobs: "research every new lead and draft a personalised reply", not "run my marketing". I start narrow, prove the agent on real data, then widen its scope.

Every agent runs in your accounts, logs what it does, and asks before it acts on anything that matters. If I can't explain what an agent did and why, it isn't ready.

Good questions

Custom AI Agents FAQs.

What is the difference between an automation and an AI agent?

An automation follows fixed steps. An agent uses a model to decide which steps to take within limits you set, which suits work that needs judgment.

Can an agent work with my existing tools?

Usually. Anything with an API or an n8n, Make or Zapier connector can be connected, including most CRMs, inboxes and project tools.

Is it safe to let AI act on my systems?

With the right limits, yes. Agents get only the permissions they need, high-impact actions need human approval, and everything is logged.
