Technical SEO that removes what's holding your rankings back

If Google can't crawl, render or understand your pages, nothing else you do will stick. I audit the foundation, prioritise fixes by impact, and either work with your developer or make the changes myself.

What's included

What Technical SEO covers.

Scoped to your site and goals. Not every engagement needs every item, and the audit tells us which ones matter most.

01

Crawl & indexation audit

A full crawl compared against Search Console and your sitemap, so we know exactly which pages Google sees, ignores or misreads.

02

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP and CLS diagnosed from real-user data, with fixes ranked by effort: images, fonts, scripts and third-party tags.

03

Architecture & internal links

URL structure, navigation and internal linking that make your most valuable pages the easiest to find.

04

Structured data

Schema for your organisation, services, locations, products, articles and FAQs. Validated, not copy-pasted.

05

Redirects, canonicals & duplicates

Clean redirect chains, correct canonicals, and a plan for parameter, filter and pagination URLs.

06

Migration support

Redirect mapping, pre-launch QA and post-launch monitoring for redesigns, domain changes and platform moves.

How I approach it

The honest version

A technical audit is only useful if it ends in a short list. Mine end with a prioritised backlog covering what to fix, why it matters, how long it should take and who does it.

I work directly in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and Framer, and write clear tickets for developers on custom builds. Every fix is checked after it ships, in Search Console and in a fresh crawl.

Reached first position for head terms including “life insurance”, “RRSP” and “annuity”, and migrated one insurer from an agency-managed website with no CMS to WordPress.

Good questions

Technical SEO FAQs.

How often should a technical audit be done?

A full audit at the start of an engagement and before any redesign. After that, monthly monitoring catches most problems, and a quarterly crawl is enough for most small and mid-sized sites.

Do I need a developer?

Not always. On hosted platforms like Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and Shopify I can usually make the changes myself. On custom builds I write tickets your developer can act on without guesswork.

Will fixing Core Web Vitals boost my rankings?

It's more of a tiebreaker than a rocket. Page experience matters most when competing pages are otherwise similar. But speed fixes almost always lift conversions, which is reason enough.
