How I approach it
The honest version
A chat assistant is only as good as what it knows. Most bad bots are working from a scrape of the homepage. I build a proper knowledge base first (services, pricing rules, service areas, policies) and test the assistant against real customer questions before it goes live.
It will always say it's an AI, never invent a price, and hand off to a person when it isn't sure. Those rules aren't negotiable.
