How I approach it
Most slow WordPress sites aren't WordPress's fault. They're the result of a heavy theme, a page builder and twenty plugins doing what three could. I build on the block editor with a lean custom theme and add plugins only when they earn their place.
Hosting matters more on WordPress than on any other platform. I'll recommend managed hosting that fits your budget, or work with what you already have.
