SEO

SEO that compounds, built on a site Google can trust

Technical fixes, sharper pages, content that answers real questions, and local signals that put you in the map pack. Done by a senior strategist, explained in plain English, and measured against leads instead of vanity rankings.

The short version

Most sites don't have one big SEO problem. They have a stack of small ones: a template that hides content from crawlers, service pages that never say where you work, blog posts that answer questions nobody asked. I find the handful that matter for your business and fix them in order of impact.

Content is built around E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust) and a 10x content strategy: pages that are genuinely more useful, specific and original than what ranks today, not just longer. It's the bar that both Google and AI answers reward.

Every engagement follows the same arc: foundation first, then pages and content, then authority. I also specialise in website migrations and redesigns, defending the traffic you already have with full redirect mapping, pre-launch QA and post-launch monitoring.

A site search engines can read

Crawlable, indexable, fast and clearly structured, so the content you publish gets a fair shot at ranking.

Pages that match how people search

Every important page mapped to a real search intent, written to rank and to convince the person who lands on it.

Visibility you can measure in leads

Reporting built around calls, form fills and sales from organic search. Rankings are tracked as a means, not the goal.

Process

How it comes together.

  1. 01

    Audit & baseline

Technical crawl, Search Console and analytics review, competitor gap analysis and keyword mapping. You get a prioritised plan, not a 200-page export.

  2. 02

    Fix the foundation

Indexing, speed, structure, schema and redirects. The work that lets everything after it count. Typically months 1 to 3.

  3. 03

    Improve & expand pages

Quick wins on pages that already rank on page two, then new pages and content to close the gaps competitors are exploiting.

  4. 04

    Build authority & compound

Links, citations, reviews and digital PR that push you into the top positions and keep you there.

Good questions

SEO questions.

How long does SEO take to work?

Most businesses see early movement in three to four months and meaningful results in six to twelve. Competitive categories in Calgary and Edmonton can take longer; smaller markets like Cochrane, Okotoks or Lethbridge are often faster.

Do you guarantee rankings?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google's algorithm. I commit to senior, transparent work on the things that drive rankings, and reporting that shows exactly what's changing.

What do you need from me?

Access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Analytics, a kickoff call, and someone who can approve changes. A 30-minute monthly check-in keeps things moving.

How do you report progress?

A monthly report in plain English covering rankings, organic traffic, leads, what I did and what's next. It's built from GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs and Semrush data, and I walk you through it on a call.

What is E-E-A-T, and why does it matter?

E-E-A-T stands for experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust. It's how Google's quality guidelines describe helpful content. In practice it means showing who wrote a page and why they're qualified, using real examples and evidence, and running a trustworthy site. I build it into every page and content plan.

Do you just advise, or do the work too?

Either. Some clients want consulting and a clear plan for their own team. Others want it all done: briefs, copywriting, technical changes, wireframes, development, and finding and managing freelancers. It's tailored to your team and budget.

Can you redesign or migrate my site without losing traffic?

Yes, it's a specialty. Every migration starts with a URL inventory and redirect map, keeps the content that ranks, and is monitored closely in Search Console after launch.
