Email Marketing

Email marketing that earns its place in the inbox

Search brings people to your site once. Email brings them back. I set up the automated flows, newsletters and technical foundations that turn visitors into customers, and customers into regulars.

The short version

Email is the one marketing channel you fully own. No algorithm decides whether your subscribers see it, but inbox providers do decide whether it lands in the inbox or in spam. Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have required bulk senders to authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC and to offer one-click unsubscribe, and Microsoft followed in 2025. I make sure your setup passes.

Because you're in Canada, everything is built around CASL: clear consent, clear identification of who's sending, and a working unsubscribe on every message.

Revenue on autopilot

Inbox, not spam

Good questions

Email Marketing questions.

Which email platform should I use?

Klaviyo for most ecommerce stores; Mailchimp, MailerLite or Kit for most service businesses and creators; HubSpot if you already use its CRM. I'll work in what you have if it's working.

What is CASL?

Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. It requires consent before you send commercial email (express consent, or implied consent in limited cases), clear identification of the sender, and an unsubscribe that is honoured within 10 business days. Penalties can be significant, so it's built in from the start.

How often should I email my list?

Often enough to stay useful, rarely enough to stay welcome. Monthly is a solid starting point for most small businesses, with automations doing the timely work in between.

Do you write the emails?

Yes, or I can edit yours. Most clients prefer that I draft and they approve.
